Faustina Obeng Adomaa

Faustina Obeng Adomaa is a Critical Geographer whose research is at the intersection of the politics of climate change, agriculture value chain development, and agrarian livelihoods including gender, land, and labour relations. She focuses on unpacking rules in use across multiple domains of the food system and integrates critical agrarian studies perspectives into value chain and climate change research. She has extensive experience in designing and implementing interventions that mainstream gender-transformation in inclusive value chains and climate smart agriculture. Faustina is an independent consultant and works as a Gender Equality and Social Inclusion consultant at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, Ghana. She holds a PhD in Social Science (Inclusive Value Chains) from Wageningen University, Netherlands.
