Kelsey McFaul

Kelsey McFaul is in the Ph.D. program in Literature at the University of California, Santa Cruz, USA. She also holds an M.A. in African Studies from Stanford University. Her dissertation focuses on 20th century Horn of Africa literature, and her research interests include African language literature, the Indian Ocean, and environmental and digital humanities. In 2020-21, she was a public fellow at the Center for the Art of Translation, where she built institutional support for African language literary translators.
