Mardiya SibaYahaya is a digital sociologist, researcher, community movement builder and a learning experience designer. Within her current journey, she is building the Flowers and Gardening Project, which is her idealistic art experiment to create community owned digital technologies that centre the philosophies of opacity.

She has extensive experience researching digital labour, gender and cybersecurity, surveillance, counter-publics and digital identities. As a movement builder, her mandate is to cultivate joyful spaces.
