Souad Souad Eddouda
Souad Eddouada is professor of Gender at Iben Tofail University in Kenitra, Morocco. Her areas of interest are: Gendered land reform and the commons, Islam and human rights. In 2019 she was awarded a multiyear grant from the Moroccan Ministry of Education, Ibn Khaldoun Social Science Program, to support research and writing for her book project: Gender and Land Rights in Morocco: Privatization and Women’s Protest. Dr. Eddouada’s work on gender,
land and the commons has been published internationally in journals and edited volumes. Her work has been supported by two Fulbright grants (2008 and 2019), as well as grants and fellowships from the Open Society Foundation and Lund University (Sweden).
