Titilope is a PhD Candidate in International Affairs at the University of Ghana, studying gender and activism within the Boko Haram conflict., She is a three-time fellow of the Social Sciences Research Council, specialising in gender, conflict, security, and civil society. Over the past 15 years, she has conducted research and advocacy on these topics with a focus on Africa. Her current work, sponsored by the African Peacebuilding Network, centres on women and terror in Africa, the intersections of national and global frameworks on women, peace and security, and the gender dynamics of the displacement crisis produced by the Boko Haram conflict. Titilope has previously worked with the West Africa Civil Society Institute, International Crisis Group, and the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. Am experienced editor, she writes periodically for Kujenga Amani and Africa is a Country. She is an accredited member of FemWise-Africa and founded Doing A PhD in Africa.
